ENG, and the Pyatts of the SC coast. Whether there may be a connection or not among these lines prior to arriving in the colonies could be proved or disproved by DNA testing.
I share the same suspicion--if there is a connection between these 3 lines, I believe it would be pre-colonial America, in England or France.
