Robin,
I've still got more stuff regarding the North & South Carolina
Pyatt-Pyeatt's. I can't remember if I've got documentation on this
beyond what others have concluded. Without really looking at what I've
gathered, I'm thinking she may be the daughter of John Pyatt, Jr. from
one of his 3 marriages. The Pyatt's, LaBruce's and Allston's in the
Waccamaw area tend to all be interconnected.
I'm still unpacking the office and am trying to figure out what I need
to take with me to Texas. I'm leaving next week & won't be back until
the 18th. In the interim, I'm practicing my smile and the phrases "I'm
excited to be a student again" and "I'm looking forward to library
school." It should be a nice change from the gritted teeth and the
"what on earth was I thinking" attitude that has surfaced every time
I've hit a bump in the road with this decision.
The end result is "I'm working on it... I'm working on it."
Happy New Year to you all!
Sharolynn

Subject: Mary and John of SC
From Ancestry.com's SC newspapers file:
February 17, 1800
Married at Waccamaw, on Tuesday evening last, by the Rev. Mr. Speirin,
Doctor William Allston, of this town, to Miss Mary Pyatt, daughter of
the
late John Pyatt, Esq. (Georgetown letter of February 8th in paper of

Anybody know who Mary's mother was?
Robin
