Trying to sort out these two Jame Piatt's>

James son of William and Mary Smith Piatt was probably born 1816 Augusta Co,
VA and possibly died 1867 in Pocahontas Co, WV.

James, unknown parents, married to Tabitha Morgan (and Sarah Smith?) born
Augusta Co VA 1818 and died Cooper Co, MO 1899.

I have child information for James and Tabitha and nothing on his parents.
Have nothing difinitive on James, Son of William and Mary.

Any help and/or confirmations would be appreciated.
