It would appear that Martha Piatt b 1849 is a likely candidate to be Martha Puterbaugh, wife of Abraham, and also that her mother Elizabeth Woliver Piatt is the 73 year old in their household.

Nothing further is known of John and Rebecca Piatt of Montgomery Co OH other than that they were in Rockingham Co VA (or she was) at the birth of their son Jacob in 1809. With a Rockingham Co VA reference we can suspect a connection to James and Mary Donahue Piatt who went from VA to OH and IN and to Benjamin Piatt of VA who married Ann Carter in Bartholomew Co IN.
