like my shoes are double knotted and my feet are swollen and I can't get the
knots out *Grin*

Now as for Richard Milton Piatt...

I show him born 24 Jan 1871 in WV the son of Thomas and Lucinda Schneider
Piatt. I have no spouse listed for him but have daughter Jaquiline who
Married a Mr Ford. I really havent worked on this particular family.

The William and Lucinda you show with son ThomasR and Daughter Lanza William
H b 1830, son of William and brother to My John S. Wife Lucinda is sister
to my Mary Snider, daughters of Thomas and Elizabeth Buttler Snider of
Jackson County.

I just wish I could figure out when my John came to Jackson Co. Truax's
John was there by 1880, but Snider's John had daughter Roxie Ellen born in
Mason County in 1880. Next child is born 1883 in Jackson County so it had
to be between October 1880 and October 1883. Rebecca, daughter of the Truax
John was born in OH in 1877 and her brother Lorenzo was born in WV in 1879.
So I think we can safely say that Truax's John was the first in the county,
right?

Now Truax's John is buried in Sandyville, Jackson Co, WV as is Mary Snider
Pyatt. Mary Truax Pyatt is buried in Monroe Co, OH. Family reports John S
is in an unmarked grave in the Sandyville Area (near the Trace fork Cemetery
where the other John and Mary are)

Do we have a confirmed birth and/or death date for John S?

Truax's John was born in Monroe Co in 1842 and died in Jackson Co in 1897.
I show John S born 16 June 1840 Nicholas Co and died Feb 1896.

Now I remember why I stopped working on this for awhile!!
