Subject: more DNA results

Family Tree DNA sent several notices today when they should have been on the road out of Houston. They certainly are a dedicated crew.
DNA results of a descendant of Pvt Joseph Pyatt, Rev soldier of NC, have been posted are can be seen on the Piatt public page at
http://www.familytreedna.com/public/piatt/#surnames
This descendant does not match any Piatt and his haplogroup is I. To be certain of these results we should test another descendant of Pvt Joseph by another of his sons. But should the results hold, it would mean that there was no connection between this Pyatt line of England and the line we believe came from Rene Piatt.
In another interesting development, some of our group of 12 in the majority have been informed of a 24/25 match to a gentlemen in the Mills surname group. (If you are in the majority and have not been informed, you still have you own personal page set to "match only to Piatt group.") I have e-mailed the Mills descendant to see if we can find a connection with Piatt and am awaiting his reply.
