Laverne,

I have the same thing for Alexander in the censuses. I do not know where
you are researching, but I have taken mine from Ancestry.
Alexander does not appear in Ancestry for 1880, 1900, 1910, 1930.
However, in the 1920 census for Tazewell County, WV there is a Alexander
Pyatt, age 72.
The copy of the census is very light and the ages may not be correct. I do
not know if this is the same Alexander, but he has a wife Bettie, age 48, a
son N. Roy, age 19, a daughter
Georgia G. age 12, and another daughter Clara C., age 9.
This Alexander Pyatt is not to be confused with another Alexander PIATT that
came from Ohio.
