Yes, it is Edith that was James Francis Piatt's Wife!

Aunt Edith
b. 9/5/1880
d. Good Friday, 1970

I had her first name and dob,dod on file ... but didn't know where she fit
in!!

This also places them around Winston Salem (Forsyth County) in 1920!

James Francis had a brother (William H. Piatt) that lived in Winston Salem,
NC in 1930.
I know this due to a letter their father (Albert James Piatt, b. /10/1851;d.
5/31/1930) wrote my great grandfather on 3/25/1930 from Winston Salem ....
He mentions that he is living with William.

William H. had a son, Perry. Perry (b.6/1/1922;d.7/1976) is listed on the
SSDI database. Here again I have no other information on children Perry
may have had.

Perry and Marcus Francis represent the only other possible Piatt surname
descendants in my branch of the family that could possibly have had sons to
carry on the family name.

My uncle had 3 daughters, My dad just me, and I have 3 daughters. My wife
has thrown in the towel in trying for that boy I've always desperately
wanted : (

If Perry and Mark do not have male heirs, then my branch of the family
dating as far back as 1850 will come to an end with me. You can see why I
have such a desire to find these missing distant cousins. We would all
share the same gg grandfather, so we wouldnt be all that distant.
