I would urge others in the NJ roots group (the 25/25 match majority) at:
http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Piatt
to upgrade to the 59 marker test as well. It is pricy at $148, but that's less than the cost of the original test of 25 markers. The upgrade actually gives an additional 34 markers for less than the cost of the original 25. The test can be ordered from your personal page. For this you would need your kit number, your password (both of which are on the certificate you received from FTDNA) and your credit card. Go to
http://www.familytreedna.com
and enter kit # and password to go to your personal page.
Or you can authorize me to order the kit for you. This method would be slower as I would authorize an invoice to be sent to you and then you would have to pay the invoice before your stored sample would be reanalyzed. Either method would work in the long run.
It is hoped that the upgrade to 59 markers would show branching of those who match. Ironic isn't it that first we wanted to match and now we want to diverge into branches.
I ordered the upgrade for Ed's sample, too, and am eager to get the results to compare to other upgrades.
