Hi Eddie,
Good to hear from you.
Mrs. James Francis Piatt (aunt Edith) was a joy to correspond with back in
the 1960's. You state she passed away on Good Friday 1970. I have this date
as 3/27/1970. Correct?
I was told James Francis Piatt was buried in Richmond, VA but I do not know
if it was the Hollywood Cemetery, I do not think so.
James Weldon Piatt Sr. burial place I do not know, but his son James Weldon
Jr. was buried in Hollywood Cemetery in 1944, or at least that is what I was
told. James Weldon Sr. wife name was Evelyn GREER. Aunt Edith told me this
but I do not know who her parents were or where they were buried.
Marcus Francis Piatt (1941) lived in Greenville, NC in 1979 near my
daughter, but later moved to Joppa, MD, then in 2001 he lived in Bear, Delaware.
Present address unknown.
