Only one of the three deeds abstracted here pertains to Ebenezer Pyatt in Westmoreland Co PA, but I present them all for continuity:

Westmoreland Co PA Deed Book A, Part 1

Page 140. I, William Waddel of Westmoreland, for 50 pounds, sell to Samuel Waddel, Derry Township, Westmoreland, a certain plantation tract of land on the waters of the Kiskaminitis river, and bounded by the lands of Samuel Dickson, James Symson. Signed May 2, 1776 by William Waddell. Wit: Andw Robinson, Fr:s Waddell. Recorded Apr 15, 1780.

Page 141. I, William Waddell of Westmoreland, for 50 pounds, sell to Samuel Waddell of Derry Township, Westmoreland, three improved tracts of land in Westmoreland (that is to say, my half share, which I hold in partnership with William Dorrough and EBENEZER PYATT), situated on the waters of Pucketas Creek in Hempfield Township, and founded (viz 2 of them) by claims of William Jack and William Dorrough afd "& others." Signed May 3, 1776 by William Waddell. Wit: Andw Robinson, Fr:s Waddell. Recorded Apr 15, 1780.

Page 141. I, William Waddell of Westmoreland, for 50 pounds, sell to Samuel Waddell of Derry Township, Westmoreland, a certain tract plantation of land in Armstrong Township in Westmoreland, and bounded by a survey of James Campbel's to the northward, including a mill seat and a cabin. Signed May 3, 1776 by William Waddell. Wit: Andw Robinson, Fr:s Waddell. Recorded Apr 15, 1780.

"Fr:s" is not explained in the list of abbreviations. The "s" is superscripted. Armstrong Township is across the Kiskiminitas River from Derry Township. Hempstead Township is south of Derry Township. A history of Westmoreland Co PA indicates that Samuel Waddell was engaged in salt making.

While we know that Ebenezer Pyatt spent time in Westmoreland Co PA I do not recall reading these deeds or an explanation of why Ebenezer would have owned land in partnership with Donnough and William Waddell. Waddell is associated with Piatt in Ohio Co (W)VA and Adams Co OH. Any thoughts?
