Subject: [PIATT] 2007 Piatt Family Researchers Conference
Date: Thu, 31 May 2007 17:45:44 -0700 (PDT)

On Sunday June 17th Piatt Researchers will convene in Fort Wayne , Indiana , for their 23rd annual conference. Monday morning, Curt B. Witcher, Manager of Allen County Public Library’s new Genealogy Center, will conduct a tour of the facility for our group. Special evening programs will be given by Richard O. Piatt on Monday, Sharolynn Pyeatt on Tuesday, and Laverne Ingram Piatt on Wednesday.

Accommodations for $23 per person per night will be available in Ramseyer Hall, a new air conditioned dormitory, which has laundry facilities and a lounge for five evening meetings. The school does not supply towels, sheets, blankets, or pillows. We’re disappointed that Taylor University is expecting us to check out by 10 o’clock Friday morning because a very large conference will arrive that day. For those who want to remain in Fort Wayne overnight Friday, we will assist in locating inexpensive lodgings. Just let us know.

There is no fee for the conference itself. To reserve dorm rooms, please contact Joan Piatt Lauer before June 5th by e-mail at .
