This will interest Gail Ferris and probably Mike Reeb.

As you may remember in a previous e-mail I did tell about finding that the
marriage between Caroline REEB, daughter of Friedrich REEB at Keskastel, was
also recorded in the Civil Records at Harskirchen. As Mike knows there was
one daughter Caroline born before the marriage took place. Yesterday, I did
find a birth record for their son Georg Friedrich QUIRIN. Reference is Civil
Registration, Births, Marriages, Deaths 1873-1882, Harskirchen, Bas-Rhin,
France (microfilm no. 1713244, Family History Library of The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints, Salt Lake City, Utah). Georg Friedrich, son of
Peter Quirin, miller at Harskirchen, was born 27 April 1879 in Harskirchen.
His death was entered or stamped in next to the record of birth as 8 March
1955 in Rimsdorf, Bas-Rhin, France. Gail, I thought you might like to make
note of this as it was you who first made us knowledgable of this branch of
the REEB family and of the names of the children of Carolina REEB Quirin etc.
