I am forwarding an e-mail to the list that I received from Jerry Morrison who
sometimes touches bases with me about the descendants of George REEB, the
Zutzendorf REEB who lived in the Gold country in California...the same George
REEB who was an ancestor to Janet Leigh...former wife of Tony Curtis. I
found the news paper article that Jerry forwarded to me very interesting
since one of the persons involved in the automobile accident was a High
School classmate of mine. He and I both graduated from High School in
McFarland in 1952. I never saw Doug again after graduation since I
immediately afterwards moved into Bakersfield to work. I never heard about
the accident either and am surprized about that since I used to read the
Bakersfield Californian (newspaper daily).

John V. Reeb

Hi John,
I located the following information while searching at the Bakersfield libra=

thought I would pass it along. Do you have birth and death dates for Rosa's
siblings? Do you know which Reeb was charged with insanity in August, 1871? =
I
received a copy of a document dated Tuesday, the 29th of August, 1871 from t=
