Seeking info on Jonas or John C Reed, born Mar 31, 1812 in PA. One
record lists him as Jonas while a write up on his wife (Marion Co, IOwa)
lists him as JOHN. He married Sophronia Andrews Nov 12, 1848 Delaware,
OH. Have found 2 birthdates for Sophronia: Oct 19, 1826 and Skep 6,
1819, same parents: Lyman Andrews and Percy Minerva Vining. Info
indicates Percy Minerva Vining was born FEb 1799 in Simsbury, Hartford,
Connecticut and married Lyman Andrews Dec 6, 1818 in Worthington,
Franklin Co, Ohio. Another listing indicates marriage date of 1824.

Jonas/John and Sophronia had the following children: Mark L, Lowrance,
Cynthia, Sylvania, Aretus, - born in Ohio 1849-1854, James, Estella,
Mary Ann, Lyman H (my gggrandfather), Alda, Emma Dell and Sarah - born
in Iowa 1856-1869. I am in contact with descendant of Mary Ann, who
married James Guthrie Williams. Alda married Charles Aplin, Emma
married George Dearth, both in Marion County, Iowa.

There was indications that Jonas/John's father might be a James C. Reed,
but awhile back I did find info on a Jonas Reed, born 1812 "of South
Danvers", PA. Unable to tie the 2 Jonas' together. Further research
indicated the South Danvers might be MA rather than PA.

Anyone with info on a Jonas (or John) C (believed to be Christopher)
Reed born 1812 in PA (or further info on the Jonas born of South
