I posted this query on the internet in 1996, I got a reply today, and thought
it might interest you all.
RHEA - I am interested in the family of Martha Rhea b. Smith Co. Tenn.
1-9-1823. Her father was Archibald Rhea, and a native of Ireland., came to
America with his parents and settled in Smith Co. Tenn. She married Thomas K.
Roach, Nov. 15, 1841(he became or was Governor of Kansas. she his second
wife. Her mother was Susan Littrell born in this country of English
parentage. Do you have any genealogical information on the Rhea family of
Smith Co. Tenn.

Answer:
Dear Pat - I found an archived query from you in 1996 (don't you contribute
to the Wilson mailing list?) Any way, I saw mention of Thomas Kidd Roach
(who is in my family) and thought that the below might interest you. I don't
have much more than her parents Archibald Rhea and Susan Littrell. But I
thought you might like to know what I have on Thomas Kidd Roach. - karen
