Searching for information about the parents of John Robinson/Robison. He was
born in Charlotte, NC around 1759. He traveled with the Dickson and McKissick
families. He was a Rev. War soldier. Could John's father be a Richard
Robinson?

John's wife was named Abigail Moore. She was the daughter of Moses Moore and
Ann Alexander. Their children were:
Jane Harris Robison/Robinson b. 1787, married to Morrison
Moses Moore Robinson b. 1789
Mary Scott Robinson b. 1791 died young
Robert Amzi Robertson/Robison b. 1794, married to Frances Matilda Bledsoe
(later generations of this family went by the name of Robeson)
Margaret W., b. 1796
Harriet A., b. 1799
John B. Robinson b. 1801
Addeline S. Robinson b. 1804
Mary Scott b. 1806
James A. b. 1808
William Robinson b. 1812

Members of this family were found in Mecklenburg and Lincoln Counties,
NC>Bedford Co., Wilson Co, McNairy Co., Carroll Co. all of TN. Around 1835,
John and Abigail Robinson and some of their children moved to Benton County,
Arkansas. I hope this helps.
