I was told years ago, "there is a town in Virginia named for your
ancestors, the town is Robinsonville, VA. I was given a map, (marked), the
name of Robinsonville was changed, the map was stolen along with the trunk
and other valuable papers. Attempted to get the original map, could not
find one for love or money.

The woman, a stranger, stopped me as I was walking down the street, she
said, "you are a Robinson", gave me the information, promised to bring the
map the next day, which she did. I don't know much about the Robinson, but
of that, I am sure.
