PRESTON ROBINSON was born in 1785 and lived in Grayson Co, Va until about
1825 when he and his wife moved to Ashe Co, NC where he died in 1872. In
1813, Preston married Polly Dunford in Grayson Co, Va. Her birth name was
Mary (Polly) Moore but her mother remarried a Mr. Dunford when Mary was
young; Art Denny - - 26 May 1997.

Seeking information about Preston Robinson (1785 - 1872). Have his pension
information where his wife explains how she was born Mary MOORE but was
married as Polly DUNFORD (her mother remarried while Mary was a little
girl).

Earliest record about Preston Robinson is an 1810 tax record in Grayson Co,
Va. Next is his 1813 marriage to Polly Dunford in Grayson Co, VA. After
1825, his records are in Ashe Co, NC where he died in 1872.
