Are comments like this (and the use of such name calling) really helpful in
our genealogical research?

I' have found the exchanges amusing, BUT ALSO HELPFUL in my continuing search
for parents and before of John Robinson and Lydia Brinn in NC. I also heartily
endorse Shawn's implied criticism of the use of such language, whether or not
one approves of the on-line bickering. Genealogy is supposed to be an
intellectual pursuit, not gutter ball. Let's cool it, please.
