The info below will explain further my Rush connection. As you will see,
my ggmother Johnson was Amanda/Mandy Rush. From Death and marriage records
(and her headstone) I have her born in 1856. I later found that her sister,
Elvira/Vira Rush md a David Eatman. They had two children (boy & girl).
He must have died because she and the kids are listed in a census for Barren
County as living with my ggparents. Did you ever hear of family in Barren
Co., KY?

Looking for info on AMANDA RUSH JOHNSON, 1856-1917, who lived outside Glasgow,
Barren Co, KY. Have learned she may be sibling or cousin of George Rush,
1848-1918, who married Josephine (Josie) Price, 1848-1915. Amanda md JOHNNIE
JOHNSON in the 1880s. My gfather, Jesse Edward Johnson, b 1884. His siblings
were William (d young), James Henry and Lillie (sp). Both boys mvd to Hamiton,
OH. Lillie lived in KY. Amanda d in Glasgow & bd in cemetary at New Salem
Methodist Church outside of town. White headstone with "AMANDA JOHNSON
1856-1915" marks grave. Per my father, she is related to Laycocks in Cookesville,
Putnam Co, TN, but don't have any info on them. I've rcvd good info from
a cousin. But, we are having trbl with this family. ANY info welcomed.
