I am trying to identify the parents of Hamilton and Elizabeth Stewart who
were living in Surry Co., NC in 1786 and 1790 per census. They moved from
Surry to Hawkins Co., TN and later to Franklin Co., TN where Hamilton died.
Their children were Anthony, Hamilton, Jr., Evan A., John C., Abigale (m.
Drury Rice), Bledsoe, Enoch, Nathaniel and Delilah. Hamilton died in
Franklin Co., TN in 1832. Children later found in Jackson Co., AL just
across state line from Franklin Co., TN. Sons Evan, John and Enoch moved to
MO shortly after death of father. Will appreciate hearing from any
