Please help me find some more information on my relatives. James Bruce
Carmichael came from Scotland. He might have been adopted or he just
took the name of Stewart when he arrived in Canada. He was born
4-24-1800 in Argylshire, Scotland. He married Ann Coller in Ontario
provence Canada in 1823. He died in Beaverton, Ontario, Canada in 1882.
His son John Stewart (b. 5-14-1825) was born in Percy, Northumberland,
Canada. He married Jane Graham. Both died in Daisy, Stevens Co.
Washington where their son William Stewart homesteaded.
This information was gotten from family records not in my posession. Do
you have a Stewart family line coming from Ontario, Canada? If you do,
I would love to hear from you.
