Hi my name is Stuart Clark. I am researching the CLARK family of the Yorke
Peninsula South Australia.

I have an ancestor who was married in and died in South Australia on who's
death certificate list birthplace Shoreham England.

I have the marriage of Wilson John Clark aged 24 to an Ellen Preston aged 20
in the holy trinity church Adelaide South Australia 1864. On the marriage
certificate it has Wilson's father as a HG James Clark.

I have the death certificate of Wilson John, 30 April 1922 Kadina SA, aged
80. On the death certificate it listed birth place/residence as Shoreham
England. I looked up Shoreham and its in West Sussex.

Looking at the ages it puts Wilson's birth at about 1840. I haven't found an
entry on any of the shipping lists but on the death certificate is said he
had been in Aust for 64 years. having died at 80 that puts him arriving
about 1856. I looked in the births 1840 but found no Wilson John Clark.

I would appreciate any help or advice.
