Many thanks to those who replied to my request for information relating to
PRO wills, particularly Daphne and Julie who explained to me tha the PRO
has wills from the Prerogative Court of Canterbury (PCC). These are wills
of people who have property in more than one county and explains why my
poor Sussex connections' wills appeared only at Chichester. Daphne also
pointed out that it was actually cheaper to download the wills from the PRO
site than go through the FHC. (There may be some measure of self interest
here as Daphne is the person who woould be photocopying them for me)!

I really appreciate the help.
