I am interested in locating the children of Thomas S.
Swan (maybe in Rowen Co. NC) He married Sally
Hellard on 22 Oct. 1817 in Rowen Co. NC. Thomas S. is
possibly the son of Charles Swann from Charles Co. MD.
My Swans ended up in Missouri, the last being my
grandmother Mary Armentha Swan b.5 July 1888 in
Stoddard Co. MO, the daughter of Jesse and Eliza V.
Davis Swan. Jesse was b. Sept 1860 possibly in Ill.
Jesse's father Thomas (jr.) spent some time in Perry
Co. MO. arriving there about 1840. Does ANYONE know
anything about this branch of the Swans? They are
proving very hard to find!
