Hi!
It's your cousin, Doug, joining you in searching for our elusive SWANs!
If anyone out there can help us, please, please, please . . .
Can you by chance send me the names of Mary and my g grandma Lula's
brothers and sisters. I just realized I don't have this info in my files.
More info on this line for the list:
Thos S., Jr. married at least three times. First to Isabella GOODWIN in
Perry Co., MO, about 1846. They had three sons:
George F.
John W.
James B.
Second wife, Margaret, married about 1859 or 1860, probably somewhere in
Southern Illinois (sofar haven't found a marriage record for them.) It's
possible that Margaret may be part Indian. They had children:
Alexander (might actually be a child of Thos. and Isabella's)
Jesse
Frank
Sarah
Mary
Thos
Third wife, Mattie, b. @ 1856, married around 1880.
I found Jesse's brother Frank in 1900 in Wayne Co., MO (or at least I
believe it's his brother).
Have info for you on Eliza V. DAVIS SWAN's ancestry, too, if you don't
have it (re: JENNINGS, etc.).
Talk to you soon,
Doug
