Hi Tonya,

Do you know any sibling names/date/places for your Edward Swann Sr. born in
Maryland? I have a little information (documents) that made me think that we
used to spell Swan with 2 n's, but haven't found absolute proof and was
thinking it was possibly writing errors...???

I have Benjamin Swan b. abt 1750? where? and died 1794 Stokes Co, North
Carolina (NC). He was father of John b. Virginia (VA), Benjamin & Robert Swan
b. 1775 Rowan Co, NC. Robert was father of Johnathan Winford Swan b. 1815
Rowan Co. NC, Nancy Swan, Susannah Swan b. 1808/9 VA.

Johnathan W. Swan was father of William R. b. 1835, Mary Elizabeth b.1838, Mat
thew b. 1841 Illinois and died 1863 in Paduch, Kentucky, Sarah E. b. 1846, Sam
uel Benjamin b. 1849 Jasper Co, Iowa, Nathaniel b. 1850 Iowa, Jim E. b. 1852,
George W. b. 1854, Silas Percy b. 1856, Catherine Jane b.1852?

The names, dates and locations seem to tie to relations. Do you see any
connections or maybe have any hints to research?
