Hi Fellow Swan Lister's,

I hope all had a good Easter!

Repost our inquirery<Why thank you! don't mind if I do>;)

Please I know this list reaches the masses everywhere, but I would like
to request the attention of all the UK Swan's out there!!!!!

I am searching desperately for the brother of my grandmother Caroline
nee Smith Platt, Frederick George Smith. Their mother was Elizabeth nee
Swan Smith. She married Edgar George Smith sometime in the early parts
of the 1900's and left shortly after Frederick was born in 1912. The
last time, so said, they were seen was in Gloucester. Frederick as
mentioned in my signature file was born according to his birth
certificate on #4 Compass Priory Road on Novemember 4,1912. This would
make him 88 years old now. They could of moved anywhere in the UK and if
Elizabeth remarried (which is likely) our Frederick could of taken on
the new name as well. My grandmother never meet her mother or brother.
We have just recently found out that he is in fact seven year's younger
instead of older as orginally thought. So we are in hopes of finding him
and reuniting this pair after ninety some years as my gran will be 95
this comming May.
If anyone on the list or know's anyone that has a relative with an
elderly relative of this name, could you please check on his records.
Ask them especially if his mother's name was Elizabeth.
I have called numerous Frederick Smith's and Frederick George Smith's
over the past month's. Its absolutely amazing how many came so close as
to seeming like the Frederick I'm looking for. Some as close as with
parents of the same name as Elizabeth and Edgar. Incredible.
Please, Please just take just a moment. This is a miracle in the making
I'm sure of it. My grandmother is in fair condition, but as I'm being
told the male species usually doesn't wheather the same. So I'm hoping
and praying that if she has the longeverity, so will he, but the window
of opportunity I'm sure will close if he's not found soon.
Will you please help me. Will some kind and very generous soul help me
pull these to siblings together? I've tried everything.
I have one more suggestion that I'm going to pursue and that is to write
to the Benefits Agency Compensation Recovery Unit Disclosure & Letter
Forwarding Section in hopes they will forward a letter to the correct
Frederick Smith. Wish me luck, but in the mean time as this I'm sure
will take time and that's not what I have alot of, I would like to hear
from all of those who think they could help!!!!!

Thank ever so much, from Esther in the US only one generation away from
her mother's country of the UK.
