That would be in the vicinity of present day Kingsport, TN. BTW, Pickle
Island was on the French Broad River? While in the area did you go into
Sevier Co to see the islands where John Sevier crossed to go into Boyd's
Creek? No doubt, since I live in that area, that Sevier & I have traversed
the same lands, though over 200 years apart.
