It could be okay, but I suspect something isn't right. I suggest that you
look at the dataset information (File=>Information from the menu) and
review the various items shown there. One that you might look at is the
Exhibits item. Exhibits (particularly image exhibits) are well-known for
taking a lot of space. I have one dataset with over 29,000 persons that
takes up about 31 MB of storage. I also have a dataset with 1870 persons
that takes up about 5.5MB of storage (including a single Exhibit requiring
about 2.5MB of storage -- thus without the Exhibit, the dataset would be
about 3MB in size.
You might try File=>Maintenance=>Optimize from the menu which will
eliminate data that may have been imported and is now marked as deleted.
You might also check if all TMG modules are up to date by running
Help=>Version Checker from the menu. All Administrative files should show
as current.
