These fields are at the bottom of the Report Definition Screen for most
kinds of reports.
Number of 1st page
This is the number that relates to the first page of the report.
The default is
one but if you are generating a report that will be the second
chapter of a
book, for instance, then you may want the first page to reflect a
higher number.
Output pages ____ - _____
This is the range of pages of a report that you actually want to
output. The
default is 1 through 32767 (all possible pages) but if you just
needed to reprint
pages 2 through 5 then you can do that.
You may encounter error messages if these two options are in conflict. For
instance, you can't say that the first page of a report is numbered 23 and
then ask to print pages 2 through 5 (they don't exist). And you can't
print pages 5 through 2. And so on.
In your case, it sounds like the report is 5 pages long and the option
calls for it to print starting on page #6 (or something like that).
