Just back from a long weekend, so I do not know whether you have solved the
problem or not. I have a guess why the page number is too large. If you are
using MSWord and have the option to see all "Field Codes" viewed under
Tools/options, this would have the effect of adding pages to the document to
allow for the field codes for indexes, for instance. Those pages are not
real pages of the document, but only pages for the view. If you do not
choose to view field codes, the number of pages will be reduced and when you
attempt to print, you can cite the real page numbers. IT sounds to me you
like you are asking to print pages 50-55, for instance, when in fact the
document is only 40 pages long. When you choose to view the field codes the
pages may multiply to indicate that you have 60 pages where in fact you have
only 40 real pages.
I sure hope this helps. It sounds more convoluted than it is. <VBG>
