Terry, I only need 5 mouse clicks from beginning to end, and that includes
one to print out what the screen shows for the times that I have made
multiple entries and want a print out to compare.
Without a printout, I only need 4 clicks. There is no typing to do, and no
other programs to open. I am not sure how the process could possibly be
reduced to fewer clicks.
I have my toolbar button set up to "Prompt When Generated" for the person. I
first click on that button, then on generate, then on OK when it shows the
current id, then on print after the report has gone to the screen, normally a
couple of seconds. Then I click on the exit button to go back to the person
view. Most of the energy is spent reaching over to the printer.
For a person with about 40 tags, the entire process to get the information to
the screen took about 8 seconds. Another 10 seconds or so to send the
information to the printer, then about 5 seconds to get back to the person
view. The printer has the page printed in about a minute.
