Hi Nick,
>> I would be grateful for some simple help. I want to print out all
those people in my database that died in Sheffield so that the print-out
would include the name, date of burial, detail & place of burial.
Although I can select records by place of burial in a List of People I
cannot have an output that includes the name and place details and date
of burial. I can, of course, create a new picklist with the people who
meet the criterion 'buried in Sheffield', but I do not know if I can
then go a stage further and create a print-out which includes name,
burial date and place. Can anyone help? I know that TMGW searching is
a specialised skill and I have yet to acquire it in any useful depth! <<
Try creating a new List of Events with a two-line filter such as:
( Any City contains Sheffield AND
Tag Type Group is Burial )
The default output columns won't fit your requirements, so kill the
extraneous ones with the F6 key and insert the new ones you wish. You may
also want to reduce some of the Length values so that your total line will
be of reasonable size.
