If you are using the Genealogy Report, in the Type tab there is a
Miscellaneous section where you can check or un-check Number All Children.
If this is checked all children get numbered and the plus symbol is added to
those that continue on. If this is un-checked only the children that
continue on get numbered. So either way you can tell which ones continue on.
