For whatever it's worth, my NEC 860 exhibits the same behavior although its
driver is current. You may see some improvement by going to the Style tab,
clicking the Chart button, and increasing the Diagram Location Offset from
left margin by a few pixels. If that's unsatisfactory, you could add a
switch so that you could select between the NEC and Epson; we have that
option.
