deleted what I had entered and left the witness sentence blank. Now, no
matter what I enter, when it is saved, the program blanks out the
witness sentence field completely. How can I correct this? It won't
let me go back to the original default sentence nor can I enter anything
new. And how can I get only what I enter into the memo to print. I
would have thought that entering "[M]" would have worked.

Thomas,
I checked my history tags and the sentence is OK. I have 2 history tag one
called History and the other History-P. History, I use for holding people
from the same event together and I create a seperate tag in the person to
discribe what they did in that event. History P is for events I want printed
and each witness has a sentence.
Try Lee's suggestion of repair.
Patt Ricketts
P.S. I add my History person to all my History tags so that if I find another
person to add to the History event I can find the tag w/o having to remember
the name of another person involved in that event.
