As I and others have discovered, in Version 4.0 the sensitivity brackets
and the check marks no longer function to exclude PDNs or other info
outside of tags.
I sent a message to TMG tech support and to Bob Velke on July 28th. I asked
"Please tell me there is a way to control the printing of PDNs entered in
{} OR tell me that version 5.0 or earlier patch will include a source data
element for PDNs and there will be a way to control whether they print or
not."
Tech support today said that the only known way to do this is via the
checked boxes. However,
as you and others have discovered, in Version 4.0 material in sensitivity
brackets in bibliographies prints even if the boxes are unchecked. This is
a programming change that slipped in between 3.7 and 4.0. It requires a
programming solution. I am willing to consider editing in my word processor
as a temporary fix only. I hope Bob issues a patch.
I am again sending a copy of this message to Bob Velke. I hope he will,at
least, acknowledge the problem and will put it on his list of things to fix.
