Subject: TMG-L: Copying sources from one file to another
Date: Fri, 1 Oct 1999 17:44:22 EDT
Last month someone asked if it was possible to copy sources from one
file to another. Did anyone answer this question?
I keep my genealogy and my husband's in 2 separate files. I also have a
couple of other smaller files for unrelated friends. For several reasons, it
makes more sense in my case to keep these as separate files. However, I
would like to have the same Master Source List and the same Master Repository
List for all of my files. Can this be done easily? And if I start with the
same list for all of my files, if I add a new source to one of my files, can
I copy the source to all of the files? Once I work out how I want the full
footnote, short footnote, and bibliography to read, I'd like to be able to
copy them to another file.
