That is interesting. I had not been to the towns. I know that the Topsfield
Historical society was the publisher for the Haverhill volumes and I assumed
that they had been the original publisher for the Newbury one that I had
access to as well. What I had for Newbury was a modern reprint by Salem
Publishing Co. I was delighted when I found the electronic collections. I do
know that the state of New Hampshire has duplicated some of the Haverhill
records. The state line moved and what was once in Mass is now in NH. I had
anticipated visiting Haverhill to review their records. Now that you have
raised the question, I may inquire if there of Haverhill if there any
records besides the books. Interesting.
