Many thanks to Ken, Lee, Bob, Terry, Bob and Donald. Your suggestions were most helpful. The result is:

Marriage: Feb 26, 1800 John and Jane married in Lowville
source 1 - marriage event only
source 2 - marriage event + date + place

Marriage: Mar 1, 1800 John and Jane married in United Church in Lovvville
source 1 - marriage event only
source 3 - marriage event + date + place

Marriage : blank John and Jane married at Lowville United Church
source 1 - marriage event only
source 4 - marriage event + place

As you can see I have created 3 marriage tags. I used the citation details to indicate which source had which information in each group. Once I have confirmed that Lowville United Church is the only United Church in Lowville, I will combine tags 2 and 3.
