Subject: TMG-L: Backing up Charts & Reports
Date: Sun, 3 Oct 1999 17:12:04 -0700

I am wondering how others have handled backs ups of a couple things I want
to save, besides my data.

Recently we had to reformat our hard drive and I have just re installed
v3.5 TMGW Gold and the upgrade making it TMGW v3.7. I had no problem
restoring my data. I had that backup on a floppy disc. But I lost all the
special configuration I had done for my tool bar buttons and all my charts
and reports.

I decided I better backup this stuff also because it is pretty time
consuming, trying to figure out how I had my charts and reports configured.
I don't want to do this again.

Under Utilities>System Config>Advanced> Reports I typed in C:\TMGW\Reports
and hit OK. <My TMG is in C:\TMGW.> My charts and reports do not end up
in that file, even if I use 8 letter titles.

My questions are:
1) where do the charts and reports go when I have one configured and I
push the save button? If I could find them could I copy that file to a
floppy disc and later, if needed, copy it back into the program?

2) Is there a way to save the configuration I have done for my tool bar
buttons so it could also be reused, if needed later?

Thanks,
Carolyn Bergeron
