Carolyn,

You can backup your toolbars, report configurations, and/or other system
settings (p. 291 in 4.0 manual), under System Configuration (again this is
in 4.0 but I believe it is available in earlier versions too. In the Help
file, search "backup" then go down to System Configuration, General),
General Tab click the backup button, select the items you want backed up
and click the backup button. You will then be able to say where you want
the info backed up. I've used this successfully several times.

You can also export report definitions. On p. 36 of the reference manual
for v. 4.0 (sorry I don't have my old manual so don't know if this is
available in earlier versions, or try the help file CRW - CRW-Log) it tells
how to export report definitions. That should work for you, or you can use
the backup (see you next question).
