Karla, thanks so much -- just what I was hoping
for. I'll sure give it a try. I read the list
faithfully, and am learning so much.

First, I think you mean Tag, not Flag.
> My suggestion for the sentence structure would be <[P1]> remembers <[M]> or of course you could leave off the angle brackets in this case since it wouldn't make sense not to have either element. Another, more specific, possibility would be <[D]> [P1] remembered <[M]>. That way you can attach a date if you wish and the sentence continues to make sense after the > person's death. You could use "recalled" or reminisced" instead of "remembered." Also, I think it would be wise to use [P1] rather that [P]. That way you ensure that the name (rather than "he" or "she") prints, and also (I haven't tried this but think it would work) I believe you could have a P2 that the memory would be about, and for whom the sentence would print, but whose name isn't forced into the structure. If I'm wrong about that I'm sure someone will let us know!
I like this idea for a tag and think I'll create
one of my own! It's more precise than having yet
another anecdote tag.
