I'd like to send a relative a subset of a common ancestor and all of her

ancestors. Any ideas?
There is a description of how to do this on Lee Hoffman's TMG Helps page.
There are also some relevant hints on my page.
Essentially, it takes two passes of the List of People, and the use of a flag.
If you ahve the ancestors identified by swtting a flag, call it Selected =
Y, then you nedd to run a List of People with
Secondary Output: Change Flag Selected to Y
Focus Filter:
Selected Flag equals Y END
and then add their descendants for 1 generation.
To pick up the spouses of the children takes another pass.
Then split the databse using the Selected Flag.
Hope this helps
