Bob,
I have not tried this with TMG (not having two data sets yet), however
it works with my mail reader (Agent) for multiple mailing addresses
and lists so proceed with the usual disclaimers in mind. (If it
doesn't work, it's easy to undo):
I will assume that (1) you have your data sets in different
subdirectories? and (2) you are using Windows 95 or later?
1) Place a copy of TMG.INI in each subdirectory that has a data set.
2) Remove the TMG.INI in your TMG program directory where it was
initially installed.
2) Create a short cut for each data set on the desktop,
3) For each shortcut, right click and open properties.
a) Point the "Target" box for both shortcuts to the location of
the main TMGW.EXE program file.
b) Point the "Start in" box to the subdirectories where the data
sets (and TMG.INI files) are for each data set and associated short
cut.
c) Rename the shortcuts so you can keep them straight.
4) Make the change as suggested below for your selected TMG.INI file
to make that data set read only.
