Tracy: Recently I also imported a several hundred individual database
from FTM (somebody elses work that extended one of my more remote
lines). I imported through GEDCOM and GenBridge actually several times
each. I recall that one of the early imports had 200 sources in the
MSL that were all identical! Like you I didn't want to merge these one
by one. Instead I began investigating the various options under the
import programs (GEDCOM and GenBridge). I did so many different
imports I honestly don't remember which one held the solution, but one
of them has an option to merge identical sources (or wording to that
effect). It worked beautifully reducing my imported sources to a
workable 20 or so.

This may be too late for you, especially if you have edited any of the
data from the imported database but it might be worth thinking about.

Good Luck.

Imagine my frustration, when I find a genealogy program which will
allow me to
document sources more completely, and then find that every entry of
"Jane Doe's
family history research" is listed as a separate source, and I can't
merge
them all at once. 2000 sources instead of one, all of them
identical!!!!!

To quote Garfield.........."AAARRGGGGGGHHH"

Oh well, I keep plugging away.
