I am just trying to learn TMG. The program however can be used just like
others. When you want to do a merge or such, make a copy of your database
file whether it is in TMG or FTM or what ever. Make a copy of the TMG file
you want to merge into. Then using these copies which you have placed on
the disk with what ever names you want to use, do a merge, etc., and see
what happens. This "Will Not" change your database if you are careful,
just the copies. I always do this to protect data. Also make sure you
have a backup copy on a different disk of all data, as it is a disaster
when you lose weeks to months of work due to not doing so.
