Subject: TMG-L: Sourcing unpublished papers
Date: Wed, 1 Dec 1999 15:16:01 EST

I have 5 short papers, all under 10 pages, written by my grandfather after he
retired, and all entitled with family names, such as "The McDermott Family."
He did date them, but none were published, and what I have are photocopies.
They aren't FGS per se, but list various siblings and cousins with their
spouses, children, birthdates, etc. I assume most of the info is from his
personal knowledge & recollections, but some he indicates came from other
family members, and some I know he read off tombstones.

I use Mills' templates with various Lee adjustments. Should these papers be
sourced as compiled books, showing my grandfather as the compiler and his
address? (He is deceased.) Or as manuscripts somehow inserting him as author?

TIA for any advice, and apologies if this question was covered recently,
